What It Was Like Going To A Music Festival In 1970:

The Second Annual Atlanta Pop Festival took place over the Fourth of July weekend in 1970 at the Middle Georgia Raceway in Byron, Georgia about 90 miles south of Atlanta.

Be sure to be on time as you don't want to miss what Byron City Police Chief Wesley Cannon and Byron City Fire Chief JD Mosby have in store!

Wow!!

You want to have their little hands clean to start, as fingerprinting will be made available to all who choose to participate.  These fingerprints can be used for identification should a catastrophic event occur or your child becomes lost.
A tour of one Byron's finest fire trucks and the gear our proud fireman wear will be on display.  Come on down and ask to sound the alarm!
